These rules form part of our Terms of Service. They apply everywhere we operate: in game, in chat, and in our Discord.
1. No cheating
Play with the game as it ships. Specifically, no:
- cheat clients or hacked clients of any kind;
- killaura, aimbot, reach, velocity or hitbox modification;
- autoclickers, click macros, or hardware that turns one input into many (drag-clicking with your own hand is fine; a script is not);
- ping or packet manipulation, including deliberate lag switching;
- X-ray, freecam, or anything that reveals information the game intends to hide.
Cosmetic and quality-of-life mods are allowed: FPS mods, minimaps without entity radar, HUD mods, and similar. If you're unsure whether something is permitted, ask in Discord before you use it. “I didn't know” is not much of a defence after the fact.
2. No rank manipulation
The ladder means nothing if it can be gamed. Don't:
- Boost or win-trade. Arranging matches to hand each other free wins.
- Farm alternate accounts. Using a second account to feed yourself Elo.
- Queue-snipe. Coordinating queue timing to pick your opponent.
- Rage-quit to dodge a loss. Disconnecting mid-match to avoid the rating change. Genuine disconnects happen and we can tell the difference over time.
- Sell, buy, share or transfer accounts. Your rank should be yours.
3. Treat people decently
- No harassment, threats, stalking or targeted pile-ons.
- No slurs or discriminatory language: racial, ethnic, religious, sexual, gender-based or disability-based.
- No sexual content involving minors, ever. This results in a permanent ban and a report to the appropriate authorities.
- No doxxing: don't share anyone's personal information, including your own.
- No impersonating staff or other players.
- Trash talk is part of PvP. There's a line between competitive banter and abuse, and you know where it is.
4. Don't attack the service
- No DDoS, threats of DDoS, or crash exploits.
- No advertising other servers, or recruiting our players elsewhere.
- No scams, phishing links, or malicious downloads.
- No spamming chat, commands, or the queue.
5. Report bugs, don't farm them
If you find an exploit (a way to gain Elo you didn't earn, escape an arena, duplicate an item), report it in Discord. Players who report exploits are looked after. Players who quietly farm them lose everything they gained, and usually their account.
6. Ban evasion
If you're banned, you're banned. Making a new account to get around it extends the punishment and puts the new account under it too. Helping someone else evade a ban is treated the same as evading one yourself.
7. How we enforce this
Punishments scale with severity and history: a warning or mute for a first minor offence, up to a permanent ban and full statistics reset for cheating or rank manipulation. Cheating is not a warning-first offence; the first confirmed instance is a ban.
Staff decisions are made in good faith and are not always announced. We may act on evidence we don't publish, because explaining exactly how we detect cheating helps the people writing the cheats.
8. Appeals
Every punishment can be appealed once, through our Discord. Come with your username, roughly when it happened, and an honest account of it. Appeals that open with a lie are usually the end of the conversation. A rejected appeal can be re-opened if genuinely new evidence appears.
9. These rules aren't exhaustive
No list covers everything someone might invent. If you're acting in a way that clearly damages the competitive integrity of the server or other players' experience, staff can act on it even if it isn't written here. In return, we'll keep this page updated when something new comes up.
